This pack is designed for ease of use and consists of the letters in family groups (e.g. Clockwise, Anticlockwise, Stick and Curvy Family).
Divided Lines still use the 3 lines, however instead of a child having just the plain 3 lines in front of them, it uses the concept of Sky, Grass and Dirt. For example b starts in the sky and goes down to the grass, while p starts in the grass and goes down to the dirt. It is a fantastic system that many Occupational Therapists use for special needs children.
Writeboards also considers it to be wonderful for a child starting out, as it is a lot easier to understand than the basic 3 lines. They can then progress to the normal 3 lines in a smaller style that can be found in our writing lines category.
This pack also contains a plain sheet of divided lines across and down, plus the next stage of Divided Lines which is both 8mm and 6mm, so your child can practice forming the letters by themselves.
Both the r and the c underlays that are contained in the pack turn into other family letters and it is a great way to teach your children. For example c turns into q, d, g and a. Your child will understand that the same shape is used throughout the NSW Foundation Style writing.
These can be printed as large as A3 or as small as a business card.
