Writeboards have consulted with Occupational Therapists and found that quite a few of them use the Fluency Patterns,  Divided Line, Family Letter System and Alphabet Range to teach children with learning difficulties.

All systems are brilliant and very easy to use.

 

Writeboards have found that not only are these systems great for special needs, they are also a FANTASTIC WAY to teach children the easy version!

 

Fluency Patterns -  teach your child different patterns that eventually help them to form letters.

 

Divided Lines consists of 3 lines just like any child will use, however it is a lot easier, using the concept of Sky, Grass and Dirt. Any child can tell you where the sky, grass and dirt are in relation to each other. All the letters are grouped in their respective families according to the School's State Syllabus.

 

The Letter Families are in groups just like the Divided Lines, however they are written on the normal lines that you child will learn at school.

 

The Alphabet Range comes with 4 pictures for each letter.

 

Writeboards recommends these not only for special needs, but also for any child that is just starting out.

To get started it is as simple as 1 - 2 - 3

3. After you have enlarged the image run you mouse in from the RH side of the picture. The word next will appear near the top of the right hand side of the underlay. Click on the next button to go through all the underlays that are available in the pack. The word previous (to go back) is on the left hand side of the underlay.

You will notice that some of the States are grouped together, the reason for this is that some States have the same writing style as others. The order of the States below is .. NSW/ACT,  VIC/WA/NT,  QLD, SA and TAS
