QLD Numbers Starter Pack

This pack has been created so you can teach your child what the QLD numbers look like.

You can also teach your child how to count to twelve and recognise the numbers, learn basic addition and subtraction, plus show them how the numbers are formed and drawn.

Everything that is contained in this download is pictured to the left hand side of your screen in the exact order that it is listed below.

This download contains:

• Worksheets from 1 to 5 including bigger pictures and the name of the number.

• Worksheets from 5 to 10 including smaller pictures and the name of the number.

• Twelve flashcards with the picture of the chicks and the numbers from 1 to 12 on their belly, plus the total number (of chicks) down the bottom of the card.

• Twelve flashcards with the picture of the chicks (with no numbers on their belly) just the total number of chicks down the bottom of the card.

• Worksheets from 0 to 9 completed on special Writeboard lines, this includes a smaller number on the page giving directions as to how to form the number.

• Twelve flashcards with one large number on them, going from 1 to 12.

• Twelve flashcards with the pictures of the chicks only, this is to enable your child to count the chicks and them match them to the flashcards with the plain large number on them.

• Four flashcards with a picture of a big chick on each card. You can print multiples of these and use them to teach your child basic addition and subtraction.

• One worksheet with the special Writeboard lines to enable your child to practice in the three lines they will learn when they go to school.

Have some fun with your child and make up some games with this pack (e.g. play snap, memory and the list go on).

Quick tips: These make great decorations on your child's bedroom wall; you can also laminate them and turn them into placemats!
